Wood pellets will appeal to you because of its convenience. Several pellet bags can be compactly and easily stored. For example, a ton of pellets will all fit in an area which measures four feet high, long, and wide – an area which is half the space needed to stack a cord of wood. You can store it in your garage, shed, basement or utility room as long as the area is dry. These pellets are also convenient to use because they can easily and cleanly load into a stove hopper. Loading frequency is normally a maximum of only once per day, and may even be less frequent if you use the stove on low settings. If you use wood pellets you are also helping the environment because it is only a by-product, and not a primary user of our renewable resources.
